Richard's Rambles are a Saturday afternoon fly around the scenery and history of the area - with a landaway at a local airfield for coffee.
The rambles are all based around a theme and include a quiz / fact sheet for you and your passenger .
All welcome, meet in cafe at 1:30pm.
The trips will be :
- 22nd May - Roman Wolds and Full Sutton / Eddsfield ( weather dependant )
- 19th September - Glacial Pickering and Wombleton
- Postponed till later - Henges, Abbeys and Bagby
Of course its all a bit experimental at the moment - each ramble will take about 2 hours - with two legs of about 30-40 mins which allows time for a crew change so that the cost to each pilot should be the same as that normal trip to the Humber Bridge & back.
The aim is to have a relaxed afternoon, see some scenery, have a some fun with the quiz and maybe land at a local airfield you haven't visited yet.
You will need to book your own aeroplane with the flightdesk beforehand as none have been "reserved".
