Sherburn Aero Club

Here you will find out about the club and its facilities as well as student training, hiring club aircraft, and useful information for visiting pilots.

Visitors are welcome on the airfield, the staff and pilots will be pleased to give information on the clubs activities and joining the club, but please report to the flight desk when you arrive.

Sherburn Aero Club is the largest flying club in the North, and one of largest in the country.  With our own flying school, a large fleet of aircraft, and our low prices we make sure our members get the very best in affordable flying.

But that's not all.

Because we are a flying club, and not just a school, we cater for our members, and their families, after they become a fully qualified pilot.  At Sherburn Aero Club we have an excellent cafe and bar, wireless Internet, a variety of self hire aeroplanes, and even our own local flying guidebook.  We are determined to help our pilots to continue to fly, building on their experience and expanding their horizons.

Arrangements for the 4th September have changed on the 30th August.  PLease read the notes in the events section.  Runway 06/24 now available again.

Would members please note that you will need to have your membership card with you for the Help For Heroes event on the 4th September. You will be charged an entrance fee without it. There are no exceptions.

Also the car park will be closed as the area will be used to marshal visitors, please follow instructions given.
